RadioSearchEngine.com has been unveiled. The new website
allows a user to search for any song or artist and find out where it's playing
on stations anywhere in the world.RadioSearchEngine.com provides a universal web player which displays results
and allows you to listen.
How does it work?
"Tens of thousands of stations are scanned every 3-5 seconds to get the
currently playing song. This index is used to construct a real-time library of
ever changing music on the radio all of which searchable," according to a
news release.
The
user gets search results, additional suggestions by the artist being searched,
a skip button to advance to a related song, and more. RadioSearchEngine.com is
in beta but online and useable. Give it a try - it's pretty good.
